We welcome children from 6 weeks through 5 years old, with programs for Infants (6 weeks–16 months), Toddlers (17–30 months), Preschool I (3–4 years), and Preschool II (4–5 years).

In our Preschool II program (ages 4–5), children learn pre-reading and pre-writing skills, engage in collaborative projects, build confidence in group settings and participate in “kindergarten readiness” activities including following routines, organising their belongings and communicating with peers.
5. Is there a part-time or drop-in option?
Currently we offer a full-time day program Monday through Friday from 7:30 AM to 6:00 PM. Please contact us to check if any part-time or flexible care options are available.
6. What safety and health protocols do you have?
At Rise & Shine Prek in Fairfax City, we prioritise children’s safety and well-being. Our facilities are cleaned daily, we conduct background checks on all staff, monitor health daily, maintain secure entry systems and keep small group sizes so each child gets individual attention.

Throughout the year, we partner with trusted local vendors to offer a rotating selection of extracurricular enrichment classes, including soccer, gymnastics, music, and dance. These classes vary by season and are designed to introduce children to new skills, build confidence, and make learning even more fun. Enrollment for each activity is optional, and schedules and fees are shared with families in advance.
